What does lease-by-the-bedroom mean? What is an individual lease?

Lease by the bedroom means that each bedroom in an apartment has a separate lease agreement. Each resident is only responsible for the rent on their leased bedroom. The resident is only responsible for damage in their bedroom and all roommates are equally responsible for common area damage.

What is roommate matching?
Our community offers assistance to residents by providing a list of potential roommates.

What is the non-refundable Reservation Fee?
An upfront fee required to reserve a bedroom in the community.

How do I pay my rent?
Rent may only be paid by personal check, certified check, money order or credit card to the community’s leasing office when due.

What if I need to break my lease?
According to the lease agreement, there is no release of resident. However, at management’s discretion another qualified applicant may take over the remainder of your lease.

What if I need maintenance in my bedroom or apartment?
Our community provides on-site maintenance services.  To arrange for maintenance during regular office hours, the resident must contact the leasing office.  We also offer after-hours emergency maintenance service.

Are pets allowed?
As a courtesy to our residents, animals, pets or aquariums are not permitted. Only animals assisting disabled or handicapped persons are allowed.

What if I don’t have a financial guarantor/sponsor?
All applicants must provide a qualified guarantor / sponsor.

What about insurance in case of fire, theft, or natural disasters? Are my belongings covered under my lease agreement?
We strongly recommend that the resident secure their own insurance to protect against all of the above occurrences.

What equipment / appliances are furnished in each apartment?
All major appliances are provided, including washer and dryer, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and range.
